Publish internal website that has mulitple links to other internal applications using App Proxy Entra ID

Question

I have to publish an internal web link within Entra ID Application Proxy. The site works grear except other links like reports ext that point to other servers within the site. I have links going to SQL server reports, another going to a phone directory on another link off the main published application. The do not work unless i have external DNS settings for them. Is there any other way to get these links to respond without having them exposed to the outside world? Thank you

To answer your question, managing an internal website with multiple links to other internal applications typically requires DNS to resolve the hostnames. It is indeed not possible to publish without the DNS. It’s recommended to have proper DNS setup to ensure reliable and secure access to internal applications.

You can publish multiple internal web applications by Creating a Wildcard Application Proxy.

This allows you to publish multiple internal URLs without needing a DMZ or complex firewall rules.
