I am running Topaz Labs Gigapixel AI on an Azure virtual machine (VM) with the following setup:
- OS: Windows Server 2019 Datacenter (Version 10.0.17763)
- CPU: Intel or AMD with AVX instructions (post-2013)
- RAM: 16GB
- GPU: NVIDIA Tesla T4
- Driver Version: 529.19
- CUDA Version: 12.5
- Gigapixel AI Version: 7.0
Despite configuring GPU settings and ensuring drivers are installed, Gigapixel AI only utilizes the CPU, and the GPU remains idle. nvidia-smi
shows no processes using the GPU.
Steps Taken:
- Installed NVIDIA driver and CUDA 12.5, verified with deviceQuery and bandwidthTest utilities.
- Enabled GPU settings in Group Policy.
- Ensured Gigapixel AI is not in compatibility mode for Windows 8.
- Verified GPU passthrough to the VM.
Request: I need help enabling GPU utilization for Gigapixel AI on this setup. Any specific configurations or troubleshooting steps?
