Dear Community,

I am seeking your assistance with an issue I am facing while signing up for the Azure 1-month free trial account.

During the signup process, I used a new email ID, new phone number, and new Visa or MasterCard-approved credit and debit cards. After filling in all the required details on the Azure signup page, I received an OTP code from my bank, indicating a debit of Rs. 2 as per Microsoft's policy. However, I am still encountering an error message stating that I am not eligible for an Azure free account.

Could you kindly help me resolve this issue, as I need access to the trial account for my work?

@Microsoft, please let me know if there have been any recent changes to the Azure account signup process or if there are specific requirements I might be missing.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Best regards,

Afzal Kondekar.

Hello @Er Tech Sphere /Azhar Kondekar Thank you for posting your question on the Microsoft Q&A platform and I apologize for the inconvenience this must have caused you!

From the details you shared I understand that you are getting an error "You're not eligible for an Azure free account" while signing up for Azure free account. It could be due to the following reasons:

The email address was used in the past for an Azure free account.

Could be that the credit card was used for an Azure free account before.

Could be due to invalid address information, phone number or email address.

For details refer to the link here: You see the message 'You are not eligible for an Azure subscription'
