I have equastion if I have subscription on Microsoft tenant and already have custom domain what is the process to move subscription from account onmicrosoft to my custom domain what is the effective and process

After I complete the steps to transfer my Azure subscription from the onmicrosoft.com domain to my custom domain, I have four virtual machines (VMs) running under this subscription. Should I shut them down during the transfer process?

However, shutting down the VMs is not strictly necessary for the transfer process itself. After the transfer is complete, you can start the VMs again. SadiqhAhmed-MSFT I hope this message finds you well.

I am looking to add my custom domain (abc.net) to Azure Active Directory.

My current subscription on onmicrosoft.com includes four virtual machines (VMs), two of which are servers, as well as one SQL database and one Auto Line service. and storage account

I would like to access this subscription using my private email and change the directory by subscription. Could you please provide me with the steps to do this without affecting my VMs? without shutdown
