Vpn issue cannot ping vm in azure from users side

I have a problem that I have 3 virtual machines in Azure and 2 on premises with connection site-to-site. The connection between the local gateway and the virtual gateway is connected with no problem and no firewall rules in Azure, and I am checking the NSG rule, but the problem is the DNS is not updated between the dc in Azure and the dc on premises, and the user can't ping the VMs in Azure but can ping the on premises, and between the local server and Azure, we can ping and ping 8.8.8.8 but not succeed.

However, I am afraid I am not able to understand what your requirement is.

You have 3 VMs and 2 servers connected via S2S

You mentioned you DC servers in both Azure and OnPrem providing DNS and they are not up to date.

When you say "the user can't ping the VMs in Azure but can ping the on premises,"

Who is the user and where is the user located?

Is the user in Azure VM

or is the user is from OnPrem server

When you say "between the local server and Azure, we can ping and ping 8.8.8.8 but not succeed."

What is the local server? Where is it located?

And why does pinging 8.8.8.8 has to do anything with VPN Connection

Can you please provide more details and tell us the exact issue here.

I would appreciate if you could share a Network architecture diagram highlighting AzureVMs, OnPrem servers, local server and how all these are connected.
