Hi @ITGeek_82 ,
Have this issue been occurred only recently? Did you performed any special operations before it?
Did this button work normally on other office client(such as Word or Excel) or other users?
Based on my research and tests, Visual Basic button would be greyed out in all office application when this feature is turned off via system policy, register key , custom Installation or Maintenance Wizard without Visual Basic. If that's your case, please first check your system policy and your register key(VBAOFF), and you could change the value to enable the feature, location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common.
If the issue still exists, for more information, please refer to this article to check if you have turned off this feature via other ways: How to turn off Visual Basic for Applications when you deploy Office.
If you have checked all setting and ensure that you haven't turned off the feature, as a suggestion, please try to repair you Office to see if the issue has any difference. If that's invalid, please provide me with more information about your issues and I would continue to research with you.

Hi @Jade Liang-MSFT ,
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common
Those registry keys didn't work for me and redeploying Microsoft Office package wasn't an option for me.
I was need Visual Basic button to set up automatic attachments saving but had to opt for 3rd party software.
Hi @ITGeek_82 ,
Thanks for your update, I'm still researching for your issues.
Based on my research, it may be affected by the missing add-ins, please kindly check if the "Microsoft VBA for Outlook Addin" is in your active application add-ins or if you have disabled it.
Also, it's necessary to check whether the Addin file is existing on your machine : C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\ADDINS\OUTLVBA.DLL
If you have disabled the add-in, please try to check it to enable this add-in to test if the issue has any difference. If you directly cannot find this add-in file, I will recommend you to re-install your office with complete features.
Hope that would be helpful to you.
