Trying to sign into Teams with my Personal Account and it keeps reverting to another account and wont let me sign in

Question

I'm trying to login to teams with my gmail microsoft account, and it keeps reverting back to another 365 account i have access too.

i sign in, try and sign up go to the sign in page and repeat.
signed out of the 365 account and tried again.
sometimes there isn't an account to sign out of.

all i would like to do is sign in for teams as i need a background tomorrow.

Do you mean you cannot change another account to login Teams application, right?

Can you use your Microsoft Account to login other applications such as outlook?

If this issue only persist on Teams application, we recommend you try to clear cache file of Microsoft Teams app by following these steps:

If you are using Teams app on your computer, try to clear cache of Microsoft Teams app by following these steps:

1. Sign out from Teams app
2. Quit Teams app from the System tray
3. Cut and paste the following location into File Explorer: %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams
4. Delete contents of the entire folder.
5. Open your Teams app then sign in with your personal account

But if you are using Teams web version, you may try to use in-Private browser or try to clear cache the web browser you are using.
