Support JWS from :NET Core WebAPI + EntraID

Hello, I have a requirement that from a .NET Core WebAPI with ReactJS frontend, I need to support JWS and I was wondering if EntraID supports this in the same straightforward way as it happens with JWT token generated. And if there might be any documentation available on achieving this requirement.

Microsoft Entra Verified ID supports JWS (JSON Web Signature) for signature verification. However, it's important to note that JWS is not the same as JWT (JSON Web Token). JWS is a JSON object that represents a digitally signed or MACed message, while JWT is a compact, URL-safe means of representing claims to be transferred between two parties.

Regarding your requirement, could you please clarify what you mean by "support JWS in the same straightforward way as it happens with JWT token generated"? Are you looking to generate JWS tokens in your .NET Core WebAPI and verify them using EntraID? Or are you looking to verify JWS tokens generated by EntraID in your .NET Core WebAPI?
