I am currently logged into the partners portal with global admin access, but I do not see the customers and security workspace available under my access. It appears that permissions for these workspaces have not been granted to me.
As I am the global admin, could you please guide me on how to assign the necessary permissions to myself to access the customers and security workspace?

Access not granted
You do not have access to this workspace. To request access, contact:

So its basically telling me to contact myself to get access!
I only want to be able to provide and manage email accounts to my customers.

Unfortunately, I haven’t found a resolution yet. I’m still facing the same issue where, despite having Global Admin access, I don’t see the Customers and Security Workspace options.
If you happen to come across a solution, I’d appreciate it if you could share it. Likewise, I’ll update here if I find a fix.

Security administrator role This role is an administrative role available to Partners enrolled in Cloud Solution Provider program (Direct Bill and Indirect Providers only). The Security administrator role grants users access to perform several key actions in the Security workspace. You can also assign this role to users from Azure portal.

Andrew N 0 Reputation points2025-06-23T18:44:13.92+00:00 I'm an MSP and been trying to access this area, but after lots of digging, I've found it is only available to direct-bill partners and indirect providers, NOT indirect resellers - which is what we are.
Indirect providers are the likes of Pax8 who purchases products and subscriptions directly from Microsoft and then resells them to indirect resellers.

Partner types: The Security workspace is currently enabled only for direct-bill partners and indirect providers.
