Up to date information on Windows Updates and firewall requirements

Question

I am looking for a recent post on how to configure a firewall in order for windows updates to work. I can only find posts in the archived forum of 2015 or even older. Please point me to an up-to-date recent post / page on this topic. The page that contained information on this topic: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb693717.aspx is not available anymore.

I am forced to add tags, but the only one appropriate is the windows-server-update-services. I can imagine that a tag like network-security, or firewall (in general, not windows-firewall) would also be applicable.

Assuming your WSUS is part of a windows domain no additional firewall rules would be necessary.
