About Office 365

Question

I'm using office 365, but I'm trying to record a slide show, but there's a situation where it's not recorded.
But only a few months ago, I used the recording function well.
Can you find out what's wrong with me?

Please tell me your operating system.
Do you use PowerPoint on a Mac or on a PC that runs Windows?

Is there any error message? If there is, please give a screenshot.

How do you fail to record a slide show? Is the button gray or it doesn’t respond after clicking the button?

Firstly, please update Office to the latest version and sometimes the new updates for Office can fix some problems.

If you use PowerPoint on a PC that runs Windows, please repair Office online to check if the issue still exists.

Note: please refer to “Record a slide show with narration and slide timings”.

If you have any updates, please post back.

I use Windows and I already use new version.
I have two problems:
the first camera is not working, so I can't put my face on the pt
and the second, video is not stored.

I have some confusion, please share the results with me:

1. Have you tried updating Office and repairing Office online?
2. Have you referred to “Record a slide show with narration and slide timings”?

If they don’t work, please open PowerPoint in safe mode to check this issue.
Press Windows+R, then type powerpnt /safe, and click OK.
If there is nothing wrong when opening PowerPoint in safe mode, go to File>Options>Add-Ins. Then towards the bottom of the window, choose COM add-in, where it says Manage, click the Go button. In the dialog box, uncheck the add-ins to disable them.

Besides, check anti-virus software and firewall on your computer.
Is there any third-party security software on your computer?
If yes, please check whether it has been updated to the latest or try to temporarily exit this security software.
