Outlook app iOS problem imap-account

devide: iPad pro 2020, iOS 14.2 & iPhone 11, iOS 14.2

When configuring my accounts in the outlook app everything works for aan office365 account or google-account, but when I want to add my imap-account outlook freezes.

I found on this article that "The root cause of this problem is, because Microsoft changed authentication method for IMAP to OAuth 2.0 only for o365 accounts (web dialog asking for password). Before this change you could use username and password for IMAP. Apple do not implement OAuth 2.0 for IMAP."

This is Chinese for me, all I want is a solution that works for me.
So can anyone please help me how to get my imap-account back in outlook.

By the way: on my macbook pro it works fine.
