Why can't I manually add a wi-fi network?

My home Wi-Fi is set to "connect automatically" but it never does. It never shows up in "manage known networks" (nor does anything else), and it cannot be added manually. It just says "couldn't add the new network" with no further explanation.

It always connected automatically before the 2004 update.

    Hi,

Thanks for posting in Q&A platform.

Before we go further, I would like to confirm with you if the wifi can be detected?

Based on your description, my understanding is your wifi cannot connect automatically. If my understanding is correct, then may I know if the wifi can be connected manually?

    Best Regards,
    Sunny
