    Hi there,

    I am not familiar with Barracuda Appliance.
    So it is just guess work from my side now.
    Does Barracude ahve a dedicated backup agent on your sql server?
    If yes: under which account does the agent run?

    Also, did you check sql server error log as well?

    Maybe try restarting the VSS service and/or your barracuda agent
