Hi, I have primary MECM 2006 site with one server hosting MP, DP, RSP, EPP, SUP etc. I need to set up new DP for clients in new location (same domain, new AD site, same MECM 2006 site). 100% trustworthy list of all ports required to be opened (plus direction of communication) between these two servers is something I am looking for.

Thank you in advance.

    Hi,

    Thanks for posting in TechNet.

A distribution point communicates to the management point and a client communicates to the distribution point using the ports TCP 80(http)/443(https) or ports TCP 8530(http)/8531(https). Site server communicates to the Distribution point using the ports TCP 445, UDP/TCP 135.
For more information, please refer to the official article: Ports used in Configuration Manager

The docs are the only place that you should be looking. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/core/plan-design/hierarchy/ports
