I can't open the long file name

I have big numbers of files with long file name and need to open them without shorten the file names

How exactly are you trying to open( Azure Portal, Storage Explorer or SDK ?

Hello Mahmoud Emam, Windows 11 is configured to accept a file pathname to only 260 characters (including the full folder name and the file name). One of the things that you can do is to enable the Win32 long paths to support opening files with longer names. To do so, open the Registry Editor by pressing Win + R, typing regedit and hitting Enter. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem. Check if the value named "LongPathsEnabled" exists. If not, create it as a DWORD (32-bit) value and set its value to "1". Restart your computer to apply the changes.

Thank you for posting in the Q&A Forums.

You can enable long path support through the Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc).

Navigate to Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > File System. "File System".

In the right pane, find and enable the "Enable Win32 long paths" setting.

Restart your computer to apply the changes.
