Hi,

Please, help.

I need to import more than 5K items from an Excel sheet into a SharePoint List. What is the issue?

Every time I tried to do it I get this message (error):

This table exceeds the maximum number of supported rows.

How can I bypass this limitation?

Thanks in advanced.

    @Ramonet
    This is a limit set by Microsoft, the list view threshold means that you can't have more than 5000 items in a view. I suggest you select less than 5000 rows in the excel table and then add more rows by using quick edit option.

    Important note: Classic experience is required in order to paste multiple records using Quick Edit. Otherwise, it won't work. I switched to classic, pasted the remaining records, then switched back to modern.
