This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
After between 10 and 30 minutes of playing music the sound cuts out until I manually disconnect and reconnect them or stop and restart playback. Seems to be a Bluetooth power save related problem however the usual workarounds no longer function as of the 2004 update.

Hi,
As you mentioned, you have tried the usual workarounds. Do you mean, you have tried to turn off the power save mode and also reset the Airpods and reconnect it?
Device manager -> Bluetooth -> (Your Generic Bluetooth device ) Mine Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R) -> Right Click -> Properties -> Power Management Tab-> Untick "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"
Device manager -> Human Interface Devices-> AirPods Audio/Video Remote Control HID/AirPods Hands-Free Call Control HID/Bluetooth Low Energy GATT compliant HID device -> Right Click -> Properties -> Power Management Tab-> Untick "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

I tried resetting my airpods.
Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power doesn’t exist if Connected standby/modern standby is enabled.
