- Removing Blank Pages in the Middle of a Word Document:
- To check for blank pages, press
CTRL + SHIFT + 8
or go to the Home tab and click the paragraph icon (¶). This displays paragraph markers (¶) at the end of every paragraph and each blank line. - Highlight the paragraph markers with your mouse or trackpad and hit the DELETE button. If any markers remain, remove them with the BACKSPACE key.
- If you still see blank pages, manually remove them by going to the blank pages and hitting BACKSPACE until the paragraph markers disappear.
- To check for blank pages, press
- Deleting an Extra Blank Page at the End:
- Click the View tab.
- Go to the Navigation Pane (usually on the left side).
- Click the Pages tab to display all the pages of the document.
- Select the extra blank page and hit the DELETE button or simply press BACKSPACE.

I am actually trying to generate the word document as a resume using the interop library in an .net app. I am currently using bookmark for the formatting of the details in the word document. Once after the generation an additional empty page is adding at the end. Please can anybody tell me how to restrict the addition of new empty page?
