2020-10 Update for Windows 10 Version 1903 for x64-based Systems (KB4023057) - Error 0x800f0900

Question

i am facing this problem for a months now. can someone fix this. try to manual install but cannot find the catalog for this update

Error code 0x800f0900 means 0x800f0900 CBS_E_XML_PARSER_FAILURE.

You should fix the problem with a in-place to version 1909 or higher. When you need a 1909 ISO download from there:
Download Site

The source for the iso is safe the link points directly to the Microsoft servers.

A 20h2 Iso can you download with the Media Creation Tool from Microsoft too.

To perform the in-place Upgrade follow the steps below:

Have you installed a 3rd party Antivirus and/or a Firewall Program?

When yes, go to Step 1. When not, go to Step 2.

Step 1:
Uninstall the antivirus/ firewall program use the removal tool of the respective manufacturer of the antivirus or firewall program also.

You could update with the Update Assistant.
The first tool is Update Assistant and you can find it here. Just run it and wait for the confirmation. After that, just follow the instructions and wait until the update is administered.
