Azure App Service with Private Link: Console, Advanced Tools and App Service Editor not working

When I connect my App Service to a VNet using Private Endpoint, the Console, Advanced Tools and App Service Editor stop working.
It looks like they all expect the App Service domain (myservice.azurewebsites.net) to be publicly accessible, which is obviously not the case with Private Link.
Is it a known issue? Am I missing something?

When I try to run any command in the console, I get the attached error.
In addition, when I open Advanced Tools or App Service Editor I get 403 - Forbidden error, which makes sense since these tools try to access the App Service from an external URL, which obviously isn't available in an App Service with Private Endpoint configured.
