Workday to On-Prem AD selecting the Terminated Workday user insted of the active

When I provisioning a Workday-user and want to have the "Employee" or "Contingent Worker" attribute in AD, the integration select the terminated profile from Workday to import?
How can I ensure that I only get info from the active profile in Workday? The 2 profiles are both reffered to the same WorkerID.
It's the same person we are talking about, but he was formerly an employee but now a consultant worker. That's why he has the same WorkerID and was terminated as an employee and hires again as an Contingent worker.
