SQL PaaS DB Server | Backup Reports

Hello,

I wanted to push all the backup reports to a log analytic workspace for Azure SQL PaaS databases.

I'm able to set SQL auditing and collect database events. However, back reports does not ship with those logging events.

Is there a possibility to get the backup reports of Azure SQL PaaS to a log analytic workspace?

Please convey which backup reports you are implying to and how you have set it in the Log Analytics. Provide a screenshot if you can.

There may not be out of the box solution but we can definitely check with our Product team. And they will be asking for the above questions. So please help with the same for moving forward with this.

In the screenshot attached, I can see the backup data of Azure SQL PaaS DB server. I understand these backups are taken care by MS. But, my requirement is to get the backup data to log analytics so that I can show that I can bring in the dashboard using a query.

My objective is to bring the backup report to a dashboard.

We did check and verify this with our Product team and they have conveyed that we do not ship the LTR backup information to log analytics.

Please raise this on Azure SQL feedback channel and PG team has direct access to this and they will check and prioritize the feature.

Has there been any movement on moving the LTR backup information to log analytics? Or can the backup information be found through Azure modules in PowerShell?
