    Hello,

After removing BitLocker password security, if your files on the drive have become read-only, you can try the following steps to make them writable again:

    1. Right-click on the drive containing the read-only files and select "Properties".
    2. Go to the "Security" tab and click on "Advanced".
    3. In the "Advanced Security Settings" window, click on "Change" next to the owner's name.
    4. Enter your user account name in the "Enter the object name to select" field and click "Check Names" to verify.
    5. Click "OK" to close the windows and apply the changes.
    6. Back in the "Properties" window, click on "Edit" under "Group or usernames".
    7. Select your user account from the list and check the box for "Full Control" under "Allow".
    8. Click "OK" to save the changes and close the windows.

After following these steps, you should have the write access to your files again.

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards,

    Hania Lian
