Based on your description, you can try opening Settings-System-Power & Battery, clicking "Energy Saver" to expand it, and turning on the "Always Use Energy Saver" switch. This will change the power plan to be more biased towards saving power, thereby reducing battery consumption. The power saving feature exists on Windows 11 24H1 (and earlier versions) and Windows 10. It helps save power when the system is running on battery. In Windows 11 24H2 and later versions, the energy saver replaces the power saving mode.
