Hello,

"Übung: Bereitstellen des Docker-Images in einer Azure-Containerinstanz"

Die Ressource "ultimo2" wurde durch eine Richtlinie abgelehnt. (Code: RequestDisallowedByPolicy)

I am following this module: Bereitstellen des Docker-Images in einer Azure-Containerinstanz

The problem is that no name is accepted, it always results in an error and I cannot complete the lesson in the module.

I write the name alphanumerically, in small letters, following the rules, but it is never accepted and I cannot create a container instance.

I use account Microsoft Learn Sandbox.

What am I doing wrong?

Thank you

Marco

    Hi Marco Interlandi,

Thank you for contacting us via the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on the error message you posted, it appears you are encountering difficulty specifying a container name when attempting to create a container instance in the Azure portal.

We observe that you are using the Microsoft Learn Sandbox and its Concierge subscription for this task. It's important to note that this module does not specify the use of the Learn sandbox to complete its exercises.

The error indicates a policy violation, where the request is disallowed due to the use of the Microsoft Learn Sandbox and its Concierge subscription instead of your own Azure subscription for running the exercise. Sandboxes are configured with predefined resources and settings, limiting user access and modifications to focus on specific learning objectives. This restricts customization compared to using your own Azure subscription, potentially affecting the types and quantities of Azure resources that can be created within the sandbox.

As stated in the prerequisites of Unit 1 'Introduction' in the module 'Build a containerized web application with Docker,' an active Azure subscription is required to complete this module. Furthermore, in Unit 7 'Exercise - Deploy a Docker image to an Azure Container Instance,' it is noted that our own Azure subscription is necessary to run the exercise. If we do not have an Azure subscription, we can create a free account before starting the exercise using the provided link: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/free

Please refer to the attached screenshots for further clarification: dockerimage2dockerimage1

We recommend creating a free Azure subscription through the provided link to successfully complete all exercises in the module.
