Issue with GPT-4o when sending images for processing

Hi,
I have deployed a GPT 4o model as a global standard deployment to the westeu region. I can use the completions with the instance just fine, however as soon as I send an image, the model takes up to 20 seconds and returns a 500 server error. The behaviour is the same through the playground UI. I tried redeploying the model and even changing the content filters, but to no avail.
Has anyone seen this happen before.

What is the size of the image? Check if the image size is too large. If the image is too large, it may take longer to process and cause the server to time out. You can try reducing the size of the image and see if it helps.
Check if the content filters are blocking the image. If the content filters are too strict, they may block the image and cause the server to time out. You can try adjusting the content filters and see if it helps.

Thanks for the quick reply!
I tried sending a 12 KB 380x150 png and see the same issue.
We have also tried sending the same image to a GPT-4o instance on a separate Azure account and subscription that is deployed to US East as a Standard deployment and there it works fine. We have also reduced the content filters.
From what we see, the difference between the two deployments (that are in separate accounts and subscriptions) is that the working one is a Standard deployment in US East and the non-working one is a Global Standard deployment in west eu.
