Office Professional Plus 2019 was suddenly replaced by Office 2021, how to get back?

I have been using MS Office 2019 professional plus for a couple of years, I still have a license. But two or three days ago I opened Word and somehow it turned into Microsoft 360 without any warning (I never downloaded it!), and I lost any opportunity to use Word, Excel and other products. Then it got updated to Office 2021…

I still have my MS Office 2019 professional plus license, how can I get back to this version? What should I do?

Please, help (╥﹏╥)

    Hello DN

    Can you try these steps

Microsoft 365 is a subscription-based service that offers a range of cloud-connected Office applications, including Word, Excel, and other products. When you signed up for Microsoft 365, your existing Office 2019 license was probably upgraded to a Microsoft 365 subscription.

To get back to Office 2019, you'll need to revert your installation to the previous version. Here are the steps to follow:

    1. Uninstall Microsoft 365: Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features (or Add or Remove Programs on older Windows versions) and uninstall Microsoft 365. Make sure to select the option to "Remove all files" during the uninstallation process.
    2. Reinstall Office 2019: Insert your Office 2019 installation media (CD/DVD or download the ISO file again from Microsoft's website) and follow the installation prompts to reinstall Office 2019.
    3. Activate Office 2019: Use your existing product key to activate Office 2019. You can find your product key on your original purchase receipt or in your Microsoft account.
    4. Check for updates: Run Windows Update and ensure that all Windows updates are installed, as this will help ensure compatibility with your Office 2019 installation.
    5. Configure any additional settings: If you had any custom settings or add-ins configured in Microsoft 365, you'll need to reconfigure them in Office 2019.

    Some important notes:

    • If you have any files or data stored in OneDrive or SharePoint through Microsoft 365, you'll need to access them through the web interface or use an older version of the Office apps that can connect to these services (like Office 2016 or earlier).
    • Some features might not be available in Office 2019 if they were introduced in Microsoft 365.
    • Keep in mind that Microsoft typically doesn't provide support for older versions of Office, so you might not receive updates or security patches for Office 2019.Microsoft 365 is a subscription-based service that offers a range of cloud-connected Office applications, including Word, Excel, and other products.
