Issue Restoring Backup from Azure Database for PostgreSQL to VM Deployed PostgreSQL

Hello,

I've encountered an issue while attempting to restore a backup from an Azure Database for PostgreSQL to a PostgreSQL instance deployed on a VM.

Details:

Source: Azure Database for PostgreSQL
- Version: PostgreSQL 14.11 on x86_64-pc-linux-gnu, compiled by gcc (Ubuntu 7.5.0-3ubuntu1~18.04) 7.5.0, 64-bit
- Destination: VM Deployed PostgreSQL
  - Version: PostgreSQL 14.12, compiled by Visual C++ build 1940, 64-bit

When you say issue, what is the issue you are facing can you share more information on the error, also share the region and how you are performing backup?

Hi Geetha,while restoring the backup file

pg_restore error: unsupported version(1.15) in file header.

region: Central India
Taking backup: using PGAdmin4 on both.Azure Database for PostgreSQL flexible servers and VM deployed Postgres.

@Dhaval Kedaria Thanks for your response, can you also please share version of PGAdmin where postgres installed version
