Dynamic filtering (SharePoint

Question

I have created two lists and a document library with the intention to use dynamic filtering across all three.

The issue: I can only enable dynamic filtering for one list and the document library. When I try to enable dynamic filtering for the second list, the page stops responding.

This issue occurs every time. Is it not possible use dynamic filtering on multiple lists?

• List 1: Clients
• List 2: Contacts
• Document library: Client documentation

Dynamic filtering setup:

• List 1 has dynamic filtering applied to list 2 on company name
• The document library has dynamic filtering applied to list 1
• I am unable to enable dynamic filtering for list 2 towards list 1

Library/List web part Dynamic filtering supports only one filter. This is by default and we have no way to apply multiple filters currently. Someone has raised a User Voice on this topic here: Enable Dynamic filtering with Connected Lists to use more than one filter. I would suggest you vote for this user voice. It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft SharePoint products. What's more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
