windows.cmd.exe is popping up randomly

When I use my computer (not applied to when logging in), windows.cmd.exe will pop up randomly. I do not know the reason why this has happened, and the problem has already been there for quite some time. Really want a solution, just in case. I have a HP computer, in which I have used not more than a year, and I have McAfee Antivirus Software. My computer is working just fine, though.

    Procmon may be useful to debug this.

    Procmon has nothing to do with this new issue. Some recovery options here.

    Hi,

    Missing or corrupted system files such as DLL files may cause CMD continuously popping up.
    You could use SFC to repair.

    1. Press Win + R > type: cmd and click "OK" to bring up Command Prompt;
    2. Type:sfc /scannow and hit Enter;
    3. Then restart PC after the scan and check out whether the CMD.exe issue fixed or not.

    If that doesn't work, try the following method:

    Go to Task Scheduler > Microsoft > Office > Right click "OfficeBackgroundTaskHandlerRegistration" > Disable
    Hope above information can help you.
