Hello,

We want to migrate files contained in individual user folders, files stored on file servers (network drives), and move them to each user’s respective OneDrive.

What is the best solution to use ? Is it Migration Manager / SharePoint Migration Tools or are there other better-suited solutions?

Thank you for your help in advance

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

We recommend that you use Migration Manager (part of the Microsoft 365 admin center) to migrate from file shares to OneDrive.

By using Migration Manager to migrate file shares, you can centrally connect to servers, create tasks, and automatically load balance migration tasks. Refer to the following link: Migrate file shares to SharePoint and OneDrive - Migrate to Microsoft 365 | Microsoft Learn

It guides you through the steps to migrate file shares, including setting up agents, creating tasks, and migrating to Microsoft 365.

I hope the information above is helpful.

    Best Regards,

    Yanhong Liu
