File open dialog of Management Studio with Windows 11 looks very weird

Since I got Windows 11 on my work laptop the file open dialog of the SQL Server Management Studio looks very weird. And completely different to File Explorer or the file open dialog of other programs.

  • Distance between lines is big (I think I have set it to be small in File Explorer)
  • No file extension (I have set file extensions to be always visible in File Explorer)
  • English date format! My Windows is set up with English Language. But I use German/Austrian regional settings.
  • Checkbox right to file (why - it's just a file open dialog!)
