Azure VPN - Credential dialog cancelled

When I click connect button in Azure VPN I got error

Please help to review the error. I captured in this video.

I see that you are using Entra Authentication

Is the issue reproducible with a different device and same user?

Is the issue reproducible in the same device and different user?

This usually happens when there is a 3rd party Firewall or software blocking the VPN Client.

Make sure you disable any such applications.

Make sure the system time is correctly synched.

Please try the following,

Explore Command (Windows Key + E)

Right Click on "This PC", and select "Manage"

Once Computer Management Opens, click "Device Manager"

Under Network Adapters, uninstall all adapters starting with "WAN Miniport" - Right click, Uninstall

Once you've uninstalled all, go to the menu and select "Scan for Hardware Changes" and those adapters will reinstall automatically without restarting.

=> I can open authentication dialog in difference device and connect successfully.

Is the issue reproducible in the same device and different user?
=> This is work account, so I can only use 1 account in this device

This usually happens when there is a 3rd party Firewall or software blocking the VPN Client.

Make sure you disable any such applications.
=> Already did.

Make sure the system time is correctly synched.
=> Already synced.

I tried all of them but still not working for me.

As next steps,

Verify that the Azure VPN Client has permission to run in the background. For steps, see Windows background apps.

Clear sign-in information : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/vpn-gateway/troubleshoot-ad-vpn-client#clear

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the application.

In case the above did not help, please enable diagnostic logs on the VPN Gateway and check the P2SDiagnosticLog.

You can filter using the public IP and timestamp of when the remote device tried to connect

The "Message" field should give some insights on what's blocking.

I understand your concerns.

However, it is mandatory we check all possibilities before engaging Azure Support.

Hence, I would request you to please share the diagnostic logs on the VPN Gateway especially the P2SDiagnosticLog while you attempt to connect.

In that case, to troubleshoot further, we will need a specialized 1:1 session, where a support engineer can have a screen share session to pinpoint the issue.
