Are we able to install the SCOM Management Server role on a Windows Server that is already running the Azure Monitoring Agent in Azure. Of course we uninstall the Azure Monitoring Agent first and we can install SCOM management server. But then can we able to connect the server back to Azure Log Analytics workspace to collect Security Events. Is there any way to install the SCOM management server without uninstalling the Azure Monitoring agent.

    Hi @shankar431 ,

As far as I know there is no way of installing the SCOM management server role without first uninstalling the Log Analytics agent.

You should be able to connect your server to the Log Analytics Workspace afterwards:

Connect Operations Manager to Azure Monitor
