How to print only first page in outlook with a macro

The emails I receive are very long and when I print I throw away a lot of paper, I only need the first page.

I would like to do this with a macro that chooses the printer and only defines the first page

Thanks

Franco

It would probably be easier to just do this yourself when you print via the UX. Macros in Outlook are basically deprecated. The new Outlook client doesn't support them and there doesn't appear to be any plans to do so. Any automation related to Office in general is being pushed to the newer JS API.

Nevertheless Outlook does not provide any method other than Printout to print mail messages and it uses the default settings. There isn't any options to configure this. But there is an interesting YouTube video here that shows another approach which is to basically automate the process of clicking the right options in the Print dialog via a macro. It isn't the greatest approach and could easily break but gives you an idea of how you might solve it, at least in the old client.
