Hello @POUND BIZKIT Thank you for contacting us through Microsoft Q&A platform. Happy to help!

From your post I understand that you were billed for the mentioned period [1-30 June and 1-15 July 2024] though you never used the cloud (Azure services). This needs to be looked into by Azure billing and subscription management team and perform billing validation of your Azure account to help further with waiving (refund) of the bill.

Since this is a billing refund request, we would not be able to help you much through this platform. I strongly recommend you reach out to Azure billing and subscription management team by raising a support request. Here is the link - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-portal/supportability/how-to-create-azure-support-request to create support case.

FYI: Azure Billing and Subscription Management support is included in the Basic Support Plan without any charge.

    https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/plans/

Please create a New Support Request in the portal and choose Issue type: Billing Problem type: Refund request, then click Next. Once it shows suggested solutions, DO NOT CLICK the Request a refund button, click Return to support request in upper left corner as shown below:

Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes!
