Hi,

We granted access to a folder on our sharepoint to user outside our organisation. It is their responsibility to provide monthly reports. These reports we want to be visible in our web based system (i.e. view the file if click on link).

Easy to grant access.

Easy to get link to that file - the file changes monthly although the file name will rename the same (I think this is where things go south).

Easy to have hyperlink on our website.

Please walk me through where we go wrong on the middle section. Works perfectly month 1 but as soon as the user updates it the link breaks.

Based on your description, I understand you share a folder with external users, but sharing links invalid in a month.

Please check whether you set expiration date in the tenant, site and file level.
