Thanks for your post. I noticed that some end users have reported similar issue that have been resolved by the following methods.
Method 1:
- Open the Chrom and type: chrome://settings
- Select ‘Default browser’ and click ‘Make default’
Method 2:
- Open the Settings app.
- Click on Apps.
- Click on Apps & features.
- Scroll down and select Google Chrome.
- Click on Advanced options.
- Click on Reset.
- Click on Reset again to confirm.
Method 3:
- Download and install the Microsoft Edge Insider Preview.
- Open Edge.
- Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the window.
- Select Settings.
- Click on Appearance.
- Under "Appearance," select "Use system default."
- Click on Restart to restart Edge.
Method 4:
- Open the Registry Editor.
- Navigate to the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

- Create a new DWORD value and name it "ForceEdgeDefaultBrowser".
- Set the value of the new DWORD to 0.
- Restart your computer.
