My billing increases without reason?

Hello, in azure i only use virtual machine, i have stopped the vm and i don't used it yesterday but the billing was increased from 0.85$ to 1.4$ , how to fix it? Thanks

Hi @Muhammad Abdullah ,

if the Azure VM is in state Stopped (deallocated) there are no costs for compute. But you will be charged for the related disk (for instance the OS disk) because the disk is still consuming Azure storage.

Hi @Muhammad Abdullah ,

to decrease costs for related disk(s) choose Standard HDD type and use the smallest size for the disk possible.

We are talking about 0.55$ per day? I am afraid you can't get far below this ;-)
