How to create Excel Connection to a SQL database

This connection must be validated by a SQL login to ensure the contents of your databases remain secure. The connection can be refreshed to update the content from the SQL database.

    In Excel, go to the Data section in the ribbon. Select Get Data and then from SQL Server. The dialog you get should be self-explanatory.
