Customer Best Practices Assessment: exclude checks/false positives

Is there any way to customize the BPA in Azure ARC for SQL to exclude certain checks or to flag issues as false positives? I've got certain issues being flagged by the BPA however these can't be resolved as the application accessing the database requires this. Anybody have a solution on how to customize the assessment so that these issues are no longer showing up on the BPA?

I have checked with the internal team and reply is as follows:

Currently BPA does not offer this feature.

You are free to suggest this as a feedback and team could consider it for future release.

Hi Shakti, thanks for you support. The link provided shows how to resolves issues from the BPA, and then rerunning the assessment so it shows up as resolved. My customer is running an application called Chipsoft HiX, which requires certain SQL configurations that are not allowed to be altered and are showing up in the BPA as [issues] as these are not in line with MS best practices. Is there any way to have these (manually?) show up as [false positives] or something along these lines, so that the BPA isn't constantly flagging them as unresolved issues.

I will need to agree with Berend. For fun, I enabled BPA for one of my Arc-enabled lab servers at home. Not surprising, all sorts of issues were reported. I did not go through them all, but just two examples.

Some databases in simple recovery were reported. Of course, full recovery is generally a better practice, but there are plenty of situations were simple is good enough. That could be staging databases, or databases with modest RPO. So let's say that this was a production server. I might want to just check a box and maybe also add a comment of why this is OK and then don't have BPA to nag me in the future.

The other example was a complaint on procedures that were named sp_ in a database. Yes, that is not very good practice, but I can't rename these procedures, as the database in question is DWConfiguration, which is part of Polybase.
