Primary exchange server down

I have exchange with DAG(2 servers). And now Primary exchange server went down due to OS corrupted. We have tried 2 days make online primary server and failed.

Now we want to run services via secondary exchange. Can anyone guide step by step to run email services via secondary exchange

    • Before attempting to activate the secondary, ensure Active Directory replication is healthy and functioning between domain controllers.
    • On the secondary Exchange server, use the Mount-Database cmdlet to mount the mailbox databases that resided on the primary server.
    • Use the ActivateCopy cmdlet to activate the copy of the mailbox database on the secondary server. This process makes the database the new primary copy.
    • Use the Set-MailboxServer cmdlet with the Active switch to set the secondary Exchange server as the active server in the DAG.
    • If your MX record points to the primary server's hostname, update it to point to the secondary server's hostname or a load balancer managing both servers.
