VM not available after a restore

Alright, so due to the Crowdstrike fiasco that put one of our Windows VMs into a BSOD, and with a previous administrator not using a known administrator/password, I decided to simply restore from a backup from just a couple hours before the Crowdstrike object was placed on the server.

Should not the VM simply restart normally after the restore?

Instead, the VM shows Running but does not allow RDP connection that was available without issue from before this started.

Thoughts on how to proceed would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Performed a successful reset of the NIC and that took care of the issue.
