Hello,

I have a subscription with offer number 0036P. I am wondering if it will cover the cost of "Windows 10 Pro N, version 22H2 – Gen2 image" provided by Microsoft from the Azure Marketplace within a virtual machine that has the Spot enabled feature during creation.

    Hi @KindCompute ,

I haven't tried it by myself but I don't see a reason why it shouldn't work.

I am pretty sure the Windows 10 Pro license isn't included neither in the Marketplace offer nor in the Azure Sponsorship subscription. You need to activate the Windows 10 in another other way.

    Hello @KindCompute

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A platform.

The Azure Sponsorship Offer (offer number 0036P) provides special pricing for certain Azure services, but it does not cover third-party branded products or products sold through the Azure Marketplace. This means that the cost of the “Windows 10 Pro N, version 22H2 – Gen2 image” from the Azure Marketplace would not be covered under this offer.

It's important to note that the Azure Spot Virtual Machines pricing is variable and based on region and SKU. The pricing for the Windows 10 Pro N image may vary depending on the region and SKU you choose. You can check the pricing details for the Windows 10 Pro N image in the Azure Marketplace.

Also, keep in mind that Azure Spot Virtual Machines are not guaranteed to be available and there is no SLA for these instances. They are allocated based on available capacity and can be evicted at any time with a 30-second notice. So, it's important to have a plan in place to handle the eviction of Azure Spot Virtual Machines.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions.
