When setting up a new laptop, i do not get the option of setting up for organization. I set up with a local microsoft account, then tried to connect to azure ad organization from settings but this just connects that specific account and not the device as i do not have the checkbox option to connect device to organization when connecting work account.

How can i solve this issue please?

    Hi,
Does it work on other laptops using your user account? Have you configured Azure AD Join? Is the computer connected to a network at the time?

Somewhere there is where I would start.

    Hello,

When you connect to Azure AD, check if the device is connected/registered in the Azure portal.

Also, I can suggest another workaround for this. Install Microsoft Teams and sign in with your Azure AD account. Then check Allow my organization to manage my device option.
