I created a Windows virtual machine, and as soon as I make an RDP connection, it initiates a restart every 46 seconds. I have not initiated the restart myself, but it keeps happening within the virtual machine. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this issue?

    Hi Hafiz,

try booting machine in Safe mode by pressing F8. or try Last known good configuration.

Also check if any task schduler is schduled which restart your machine.

Hope you have checked basic step, Hardware/power cable loose, Antivirus is updated, windows is updated. or no any other erros.

    Hello Hafiz Ahmed

Sharing few more troubleshooting steps to see if these help resolve your issue.

    1. Check the Resource Health of the virtual machine in the Azure portal. If there are any issues with the underlying host server, it may be causing the virtual machine to restart repeatedly.
    2. Check the Boot Diagnostics of the virtual machine in the Azure portal. This will allow you to see the boot process of the virtual machine and any error messages that may be causing the restarts.
    3. Check the Azure Activity Log for any events related to the virtual machine that may indicate the cause of the restarts.
    4. Try redeploying the virtual machine to a new host server. This will move the virtual machine to a different physical server and may resolve any issues with the underlying host server.
    5. If the issue persists, you can try creating a new virtual machine and migrating your data and applications to the new virtual machine.

    Hope this helps.
