Unable to Access Azure Student Benefits due to Tenant Issue

I'm unable to access my Azure student benefits due to a tenant recognition issue.

  1. Original account: I created the Azure account using my Gmail address. I then successfully signed up for student benefits using my Gmail account.
  2. Error message: I get the error, "Account does not exist as a tenant Microsoft Services" when attempting to use Azure services. After posting in the forums for help, I was instructed I'd need to create an additional account to be able to access Azure services.
  3. Problem: If I create a new account, this will prevent me from accessing my existing student benefits as they're tied to the original account.
  4. Azure Support: I am unable to contact Azure support since my account is not recognized as a tenant. I cannot even submit a billing support ticket.

I need assistance with either:

  1. Fixing the tenant recognition issue for my original account, or
  2. Transferring my student benefits to a new account if necessary.

Additionally, I'd appreciate clarification on how creating a new account would resolve the tenant issue. How would a new account be configured any differently than my original account?
