I have created a new user in the portal, but it is not recognized in starting windows 11 home on a new computer

Bought new Dell laptops. These have windows 11 home installed. Added a new user in the portal. Starting up the new computer, it wants me to sign into windows. When I enter the new user information "xys@sry.....onmicrosoft.com, windows rejects that id. Please help.

    Hi Gerald,

    Looks like you are trying to use professional Entra ID / Azure AD accounts (onmicrosoft.com) to log on to the device, Windows Home works with personal Microsoft accounts (hotmail/live id)

    To enable Entra Join to your onmicrosoft.com tenant and log on with your accounts Windows Professional is required.

    Getting an upgrade license to pro for the devices will give you the best result in this case
