Print Server Azure AD DS with Azure AD clients

I've been doing testing and was wondering if this was possible.
Hosting a print server in Azure AD Domain Services and having the client computers joined to Azure AD. I've read single sign on will not work. I've tried typing in the username and password manually when adding a printer share but it fails and ends up locking the account up half the time.
I was wondering if anyone else has had any luck with this and has gotten it to work. I've tried on 2016 Server/ 2019 Server and 2022 Server. All of these are hosted as VM's in Azure.
